The Investing Club’s mission involves encouraging students to develop the healthy habit of personal investing (guided by ‘value investing’ principles) while also allowing students to explore investment management and related careers (e.g. finance, economics, accounting, and business).

Each meeting, we will discuss market-influencing topics from the Wall Street Journal and other financial publications. Learn to invest.The Investing Club will assign and learn from brief assignments, which include articles about important finance/investing concepts. |
We participate in a virtual stock game (hosted by Investopedia), in which members--individually or on a team--make decisions to create a portfolio. The portfolio will be a part of an intra-school competition. Listen to guest speakers.The Investing Club will invite guest speakers. They may include Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) speakers/teachers from business and/or other related fields; speakers may also be anyone else who is qualified to discuss relevant material. |
